L\u2019arrangement sym\u00e9trique des trois noms <span style=\"background-color: #add8e6;\"><em>\u00ab l\u2019esprit et l\u2019\u00e2me et le corps \u00bb<\/em><\/span> avec leurs articles et les \u2018et\u2019 <\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i>(kai) <\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\">am\u00e8nent certains \u00e0 consid\u00e9rer l\u2019\u00e9nonciation distincte des parties comme une explication naturelle. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Cependant : \u00ab Ce texte serait le seul dans les lettres pauliniennes et m\u00eame dans tout le Nouveau Testament \u00e0 proposer une division tripartite de l\u2019\u00eatre humain. \u00bb<\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><sub>1<\/sub><\/strong>. J\u00e9sus reprend ce commandement en employant les termes traduits par coeur, \u00e2me et pens\u00e9e <span style=\"background-color: #add8e6;\"><em>(Mt 22.37)<\/em><\/span> ou coeur, \u00e2me, force et pens\u00e9e <span style=\"background-color: #add8e6;\"><em>(Mc 12.31)<\/em><\/span>. L\u2019intention ne semble pas ici d\u2019analyser l\u2019humain. Il s\u2019agit davantage d\u2019aimer l\u2019\u00c9ternel intens\u00e9ment, de tout son \u00eatre, et cela est envisag\u00e9 sous diff\u00e9rents aspects. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">De m\u00eame pour <span style=\"background-color: #add8e6;\"><em>1 Th 5.23<\/em><\/span>, certains comprennent que \u00ab l\u2019expression <\/span><span style=\"background-color: #add8e6;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i>l\u2019esprit, l\u2019\u00e2me et le corps <\/i><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\">sert ici \u00e0 d\u00e9signer la personne humaine tout enti\u00e8re plut\u00f4t qu\u2019\u00e0 distinguer ses diff\u00e9rentes composantes. \u00bb<strong><sub>2<\/sub><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;\" align=\"LEFT\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Un humain : plusieurs mots\u2026 <\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Comme nous l\u2019avons mentionn\u00e9 pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment, la Bible utilise diff\u00e9rents termes \u00e0 propos de l\u2019homme. Et la question se complique encore quand on consid\u00e8re qu\u2019un mot peut correspondre \u00e0 plusieurs mots dans une autre langue. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i>L\u2019\u00e2me <\/i><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\">: \u00ab Les mots h\u00e9breu <\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i>n\u00e9phech <\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\">et grec <\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i>psuch\u00e9<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\">, rendus le plus souvent par <\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i>\u00e2me <\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\">en fran\u00e7ais ont, eux aussi, des significations fort diverses\u2026 l\u2019\u00e2me est le si\u00e8ge de la peine et de la joie, de l\u2019amour et de la haine, de la crainte et du d\u00e9sir. \u00bb<\/span><strong><sub>3<\/sub><\/strong> <span style=\"font-size: small;\">Ainsi l\u2019\u00e2me repr\u00e9sente souvent la vie int\u00e9rieure avec les \u00e9motions, les d\u00e9sirs, le caract\u00e8re personnel. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i>L\u2019esprit <\/i><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\">: \u00ab Il est aussi comme l\u2019\u00e2me, le si\u00e8ge de la vie affective\u2026 En revanche jamais ce terme n\u2019est employ\u00e9 pour d\u00e9signer l\u2019\u00eatre humain tout entier dans sa carri\u00e8re terrestre. \u00bb<\/span><strong><sub>3<\/sub><\/strong> <span style=\"font-size: small;\">L\u2019esprit de l\u2019homme conna\u00eet ce qui concerne l\u2019homme (voir <span style=\"background-color: #add8e6;\"><em>1 Co 2.11<\/em><\/span>). <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i>Le coeur <\/i><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\">: Selon Christopher W<\/span><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\">RIGHT<\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\">, il est surtout \u00ab le si\u00e8ge de l\u2019intellect, de la volont\u00e9 et de l\u2019intention. Vous pensez dans votre coeur, et votre coeur fa\u00e7onne votre caract\u00e8re, vos choix et d\u00e9cisions. \u00bb<\/span><strong><sub>4<\/sub><\/strong> Le coeur peut aussi contenir des \u00e9motions (joie, peine), du courage <span style=\"background-color: #add8e6;\"><em>(2 S 17.10)<\/em><\/span>, de la confiance <span style=\"background-color: #add8e6;\"><em>(Pr 31.11)<\/em><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Le coeur, m\u00eame s\u2019il n\u2019est pas visible, se manifeste : <span style=\"background-color: #add8e6;\"><em>\u00ab Car la bouche de chacun exprime ce dont son coeur est plein. \u00bb (Lc 6.45)<\/em><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Quant \u00e0 la <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i>pens\u00e9e<\/i><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00ab l\u2019h\u00e9breu n\u2019a pas de terme pr\u00e9cis pour d\u00e9signer notre personnalit\u00e9 intellectuelle. \u00bb<\/span><sub><strong>3<\/strong><\/sub><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Il va prendre le m\u00eame mot que pour coeur. De m\u00eame, \u00ab l\u2019h\u00e9breu n\u2019a pas de terme usuel pour d\u00e9signer le corps. \u00bb<strong><sub>3<\/sub><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Il utilise le m\u00eame terme que pour chair. N\u00e9anmoins, le grec a un terme courant <\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i>s\u00f4ma <\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\">pour le <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i>corps<\/i><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Ce bref aper\u00e7u, bien qu\u2019incomplet, montre un peu la complexit\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00eatre humain, la difficult\u00e9 pour le d\u00e9crire. La Bible fait appel tant\u00f4t \u00e0 un aspect de notre personne, tant\u00f4t \u00e0 un ou plusieurs autres. Au niveau de la relation avec Dieu, l\u2019\u00e2me, l\u2019esprit, le coeur, l\u2019intelligence peuvent \u00eatre mentionn\u00e9s. \u00c0 titre d\u2019exemple, Asaph parle d\u2019 <span style=\"background-color: #add8e6;\"><em>\u00ab une g\u00e9n\u00e9ration dont le coeur n\u2019est pas ferme, et dont l\u2019esprit n\u2019est pas fid\u00e8le \u00e0 Dieu. \u00bb (Ps 78.8)<\/em><\/span>. Paul veut prier et chanter par l\u2019esprit, mais aussi avec l\u2019intelligence (voir <span style=\"background-color: #add8e6;\"><em>1 Co 14.15<\/em><\/span>). Et le <span style=\"background-color: #add8e6;\"><em>Psaume 42<\/em><\/span> exprime le d\u00e9sir de l\u2019\u00e2me : <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"background-color: #add8e6;\"><em>\u00ab Ainsi mon \u00e2me soupire apr\u00e8s toi, \u00f4 Dieu ! Mon \u00e2me a soif de Dieu, du Dieu vivant\u2026 \u00bb<\/em><\/span> Heureusement que Dieu voit l\u2019\u00e9lan de notre coeur sans que nous ayons tout \u00e0 analyser. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;\" align=\"LEFT\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"background-color: #add8e6;\"><em><span style=\"font-size: large;\">H\u00e9breux 4.12 <\/span><\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Ce verset mentionne trois paires de mots : \u00e2me et esprit ; articulations et moelles ; r\u00e9flexions et pens\u00e9es du coeur. Certains y voient \u00ab une accumulation rh\u00e9torique de termes servant \u00e0 exprimer tout le mental de l\u2019homme sous tous ses aspects. \u00bb<\/span><strong><sub>5<\/sub><\/strong> <span style=\"font-size: small;\">La comparaison de ces paires d\u2019expressions peut aussi fournir quelques \u00e9l\u00e9ments. Pour la derni\u00e8re paire, s\u2019il s\u2019agissait de discerner entre deux grandeurs, il faudrait qu\u2019existe entre ces deux mots \u00ab une distance suffisante pour permettre une classification, ce qui n\u2019est pas le cas. \u00bb<\/span><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\">1 <\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\">d\u2019apr\u00e8s Samuel B<\/span><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\">\u00c9N\u00c9TREAU<\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\">. Le passage se concentre davantage sur l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 et la pertinence de la Parole de Dieu : elle va jusqu\u2019\u00e0 p\u00e9n\u00e9trer et discerner l\u2019intimit\u00e9 et la complexit\u00e9 de notre personne. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Des questions demeurent, des interpr\u00e9tations diff\u00e8rent aussi quelque peu. L\u2019\u00eatre humain, corps, \u00e2me, esprit, coeur, pens\u00e9e\u2026 reste complexe.
